"Born and bred in Singapore. Previously stayed in Taipei for 4 months. Totally a city type of person”

Languages:
English,Chinese,Singlish
Favourite mode of transport in Singapore:
Walking! But also, buses >>> trains!
If I was a tourist in Singapore, I’d be spending money on:
Universal Studios Singapore, River Wonders Singapore, A lot of food
If I was a tourist in Singapore, you’ll probably never find me at:
Museums, Bird Paradise Singapore (because I hate birds)
An opinion I have that is controversial in Singapore:
White carrot cake is better than black carrot cake
Ask me about:
my favourite local snacks, where I think are tourist traps, general living in Singapore, my favourite local singer (Qiu Fengze!!!), other travel experiences

" I was born and grew up in Malaysia, went to college in the US, but have been living and working in Singapore for the last 13 years.”

Languages:
English and a super basic command of Malay,Mandarin,Spanish,French,German
Favourite mode of transport in Singapore:
Bus for the views, train for efficiency. Biking is also fun but not an everyday thing. With 2 young kids however, I most often just…drive.
If I was a tourist in Singapore, I’d be spending money on:
Food - both local, “atas”, and everything in between. Also maybe Uniqlo (depends if you can’t get it where you’re from…).
If I was a tourist in Singapore, you’ll probably never find me at:
the casino, and before kids, USS.
An opinion I have that is controversial in Singapore:
Most controversial opinions in Singapore - that are relatable to outsiders - revolve around food. My opinion is controversial among my countrymen (Malaysians): I like the Singapore-style BKT (pork rib soup) more than the Malaysian-style.
Ask me about:
hiking, how to get around, how far is “far” in Singapore, my personal opinion if a place is worth it or not, and traveling with kids. Also any fans of Star Wars and Star Trek (I’m a fan of both), LOTR, Skyrim, and Firefly :D

Favourite mode of transport in Singapore:
Subway is definitely the most convenient transportation in Xi’an for tourists. I usually drive or take Didi. It’s nice to walk and ride bicycles during autumn when the weather is a little chilly but not cold.
If I was a tourist in Xi'an, I’d be spending money on:
food food food! Terracotta Warriors, city wall, historical attractions, night bars
If I was a tourist in Xi'an, you’ll probably never find me at:
actually you might run into me anywhere, I’m always down to explore all the places. There’re so many good restaurants and fun places in the city that I’ve never been to and I like to be a “tourist” in my hometown lol
An opinion I have that is controversial in Xi'an:
hmmmm……
Ask me about:
The “must visit” places, where to stay, my favourite type of music I like to listen when I drive in the city (pop, r&b, hip hop)
